Asbestos Surveys:

New guidance published in January  2010 moves away from the 3 types of surveys  and identifies the types of surveys as

The Management Survey; this is a survey carried out to provide the responsible person with the information they need for the ongoing management of asbestos within their premises. The aim is to locate as far as is possible the presence, extent and condition of any ACM's and requires access to all areas of the premises.

The Refurbishment or Demolition Survey;  is a full access, sampling and identification survey. It may be location specific but requires full intrusive techniques and cannot be carried out whilst the areas are in use. This must be carried out prior to any refurbishment or demolition.

Our qualified surveyors have many years experience in the construction and upkeep  of all types of buildings and hold BOHS P402 Certificates for building surveys and the bulk sampling of asbestos.

UKAS accredited laboratories only are used for the analysis of all samples.
