The 2006 Control of Asbestos legislation

Requires the Duty Holders of all non domestic properties (and the common areas of domestic properties) and those responsible for issuing work to ensure that personnel and contractors are adequately trained for:

Awareness Training; This is for people who are liable to expose or disturb asbestos while carrying out their normal work and the people who have control of how this work is done. These include all of the building trades, general maintenance workers, demolition and construction workers,roofers,telephone and computer installers,fire and burglar alarm engineers, heating and ventilation engineers,architects and building surveyors etc.

This training has a 1 year validity. 3.5 hours including

exam. Compliant with L143 Reg10 and CAR 2006

£75+VATper delegate.

Training for Work with Asbestos that does not require a license:

This is for persons whose work will knowingly disturb Asbestos containing materials as part of the job. The training course consists of pratical and theory skill elements outlined in HSG210 on successful completion of an examination, delegates will be awarded a certificate and Identity Card.

This training has a 1 year validity.  1 Day including exam.

Compliant with HSG 210, L143 reg 10 and CAR 2006

£150+VAT per delegate
