Why a telephone box?

You may well have thought of a telephone box as being rather sparse in amenities but did you know that the lining sheet in the roof was made of asbestos. It was used to stop condensation from dripping onto users.
This is not the only obscure place you will find Asbestos, it can be found in cold water tanks, toilet cisterns, vinyl floor tiles and artex to name but a few.
